Vastu Science

Vastu is the traditional timeless art and science of architecture from the ancient Vedic.

Through the orientation of the building to the cardinal directions, with the help of precise mathematical measures and proportions, and optimal placement of rooms and their functions, a state of resonance between the residents, the built environment and nature is achieved.

Vaastu is a part of the Vedic scriptures, which are more than 5000 years old. Over the last few millennia, its rules have been repeatedly tested for validity in a wide range of building applications.

Vaastu is considered one of the main roots of the European building traditions. The principles of Vaastu were used by Roman architects such as Vitruvius. Also Le Corbusier’s modern buildings show parallels. These applications of Vaastu demonstrate the universal application of this science, adaptable to local building style.

Interestingly, research in physics, especially quantum physics, is unveiling new understandings of physical laws that are consistent with the ancient science of Vaastu.
